Care & FAQs
We spend a lot of time trying to source the best materials and components for our products. We use local companies as much as possible and only source components internationally if we are unable to achieve the same quality or expertise locally.
All our pieces are made in small production runs and checked in our studio before leaving to their new homes. This means that some of our prices are quite high, but we believe there are no short cuts when it comes to quality.
Care Instructions
We use solid brass and bronze. They are both beautiful warm metals that when left unfinished, will age and patina over time, we think it shows character. However, if you want to brighten it up like new again:
- Use a soft, lint-free cloth with a metal polish to restore shine. Avoid abrasive cleaners or pads that can scratch the surface.
- After cleaning, ensure the bronze is completely dry to prevent water spots or tarnish.
- Keep bronze away from humid environments or prolonged water exposure, which can accelerate patination.
- Avoid contact with acidic or corrosive substances, such as vinegar or citrus, which can damage the finish.
Imagery
As is the case with all natural materials and batch fabrication processes, colour and appearance of each of our items may vary slightly from our photographs. Castings may have pitting from molten metal cooling.
Lead Time
Our small objects are produced in batches and we replenish this when our inventory is low.
Some of our products are made to order and may carry up to 6 - 8 week lead time if not in stock, if you need it sooner, please email us and we will try to accommodate your request.
