Sine Spoon Rest

Inspired by a sine wave, the soft curve keeps your utensiles floating off the surface of the rest, any drips are caught below, keeping your bench clean while you cook.

Cast in brass and unlacquered, this piece will slowly and deliberately tarnish, layering the little drops from every meal cooked and savoured over time.

This was designed in a backyard over a drink with friends after being sick of constantly having to clean up pasta sauce on my kitchen bench.

Rinse in warm soapy water and wipe dry to clean off oil and splashes of food or wipe clean to help the patina along.
